Delete Your DocEzy Account

Users may request the deletion of their DocEzy account and associated server-side data at any time.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request account deletion, please send an email to:

Please include the email address associated with your DocEzy account so we can verify your identity and process your request.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

Upon successful verification, the following data associated with your account will be permanently deleted:

• Your DocEzy account

• Your registered email address

• OCR text extracted from your uploaded documents

• Search indexes and AI-generated embeddings associated with your account

• Other server-side account information required to provide the service

What Data Is Not Deleted?

DocEzy stores original images, PDF documents, and locally created notes only on your device.

Because these files are never uploaded to our servers, they cannot be deleted remotely by the Service Provider.

If you wish to remove locally stored files, you may delete them directly from within the application or uninstall the application from your device.

Data Retention

After your request has been verified, your account and associated server-side data will normally be deleted within 7 days, unless retention is required by applicable law.

Request Deletion of Your Data without getting your account deleted

If you wish to delete your server-side data without deleting your DocEzy account, you may submit a request by emailing

Please include the email address associated with your DocEzy account.

What will be deleted?

Upon verification of your request, we will permanently delete:

• OCR text stored on our servers

• AI-generated embeddings

• Search indexes

• Other server-side data associated with your documents

Your DocEzy account will remain active.

What will not be deleted?

Original images, PDF documents, and locally created notes stored on your device are not stored on our servers and therefore cannot be deleted remotely.
